Prints

Whether you are ordering a photograph for your home, office or a gift for someone special a striking Cambridge image is available to purchase in the following formats:

I happy to convert colour photographs into B&W and have even replaced the names on a punt shot as a wedding anniversary gift. So if there is a particular shot you are interested in or something a bit bespoke please do get in touch.

Print Information

All photographs are printed by a professional photo lab onto Fuji Crystal Archive lustre photographic paper. This paper has a semi-matt finish and the same look and feel as a traditional silver halide photograph.

Unmounted Prints may have a small white border surrounding the print depending on the photographs proportions, they are packaged either flat or rolled depending on size.

Mounted Prints are first mounted onto fastmount permanent backing board. The print is then fitted behind a bevel edged window mount. I use Arqadia hayseed white core conservation mountboard, this is just off-white with a slight texture and measures 1.4mm thick. All mounted prints are signed in pencil at the bottom right corner. I don't title prints, but if you drop me an email I'm happy to do so.

Framed Prints Unfortunately I do not post framed pictures. However, for Cambridge based customers or corporate customers I can frame photos for you, for further details and pricing please get in touch.

If you are buying your own frame I can recommend Nielsen frames and I would generally opt for glass not plastic glazing.

Please note that I have included the final size of mounted prints in cm (below) so you can buy a standard off the shelf frame. Mounted prints are ready to slip straight into the frame of your choice.

All mounted photographs are supplied flat in card packaging, as a result mounted prints larger than 12"x8" can only be posted to UK addresses.

Canvases

Canvases are printed onto 350gsm 100% cotton using Ultrachrome K3 inks. These inks have high image stability and great colours.

The stretcher bars are 18mm deep and if the image allows I will print "gallery wraps" (image wraps around edge). However, if there is detail close to the edge of the frame "plain edge wraps" (white edges) work best.

Canvas prints are ready to hang as soon as you have unpacked them.
